Pure Renewables were the first people I contacted. Chris gave me the names of a few people to ring up who they had done work for and they all sang his praises so I went with them.
They always answered any queries. They were efficient, even reducing the price when it became apparent that solar panel prices had plummeted.
During the project a new air-source heat pump model came out. Chris took us to have a look at it so we changed it to that one in the end.
He was proactive and made sure we had up to date technology. When there was the scare about the Government changing the Feed in Tariff, he made sure the panels were installed and commissioned before the deadline.
You have to stomach the initial outlay but once it’s done, it will be quite a cheap house to run. When the money starts trickling in, it will feel like a bonus.
