Pure Renewables has been shortlisted in the Small Business of the Year category in the Humber Renewables Awards.
The HRA are a prestigious, region-wide business awards dedicated to the renewables energy industry.
The awards are hosted by Mail News & Media in partnership with KC Business.
Pure Renewables has gone from strength to strength since it won the Small Business of the Year title in 2013.
The company has recently created three more jobs, including an Apprenticeship, and expanded into new premises. Managing Director Chris Whitelock said: “We are thrilled to be shortlisted for the second year running.
“This recognition confirms we have moved on significantly since last year and further enhances our credibility as a company.
“The Humber Renewables Awards are playing a crucial role in increasing the visibility, credibility and knowledge of the industry. The Humber region has a huge amount going for it in terms of renewables and the awards very much support that.”
Chris added: “We are committed to supporting the local renewable energy industry and the community.
“One of our core values is to treat the customer the way we would like to be treated ourselves. We hope that by offering excellent service we are helping to grow and enhance the renewable energy industry in this region.”
The awards, which have been running since 2012, encompass nine categories designed to recognise and reward local businesses committed to the development of green energy in the Humber.
An independent panel of judges, including representatives from the renewables industry and the local business community, will select the winners from the shortlist.
The winners will be announced at a black tie dinner at the KC Lightstream Stadium on Thursday, March 6.
Chris added: “It’s a great opportunity for the team to have a fun evening together. To win again would be the icing on the cake.
“It’s also a great opportunity to meet the other finalists and see some of the excellent work being done in the area. We look forward to the awards night and wish all our fellow finalists the best of luck.”
