Experienced renewable energy expert, Steve Miller has joined Pure Renewables to bolster the firm’s credentials, especially in the commercial heating sector.
Steve’s role as a Heating Consultant at Pure Renewables largely involves working to expand the company’s reach and influence into the renewable heating market.
Steve has already seen much success in his career. Back in 1992 Steve was asked to carry out works for HomeServe (known then as FastFix). He soon grew the team to fifteen people to serve customers of Yorkshire Water. This service was a seven day operation and was certainly busy. For thirteen years Steve worked as a premier contractor until success attracted a company offer that couldn’t be ignored.
Steve has a passion for energy saving technologies – building the first Energy Efficient home in Beverley, called EYECHOME, which he still lives in with his wife Catherine.
Steve has joined Pure Renewables to help develop and plan growth within the company. Managing Director, Chris Whitelock has a clear objective in widening the net for the company and to educate surveyors and architects with cost effective, efficient air source and ground source heat pump systems.
When asked about Steve’s appointment, Managing Director Chris Whitelock said: “We are excited by Steve's appointment because we believe he will bring to our table his considerable experience of both designing and installing low-energy heating systems. In addition to this, Steve has a proven track record in being able to communicate clearly to the customer the whys and wherefores of renewable technologies and their application to a variety of both domestic and commercial property types.”
Steve has already made an impressive impact, creating business opportunities and imparting the wisdom he’s gained from his vast experience in business. With a long career in the industry, much of it spent running his own renewable energy company, Steve is sure to be a valuable asset to the team.
On his appointment, Steve said: “I’m hoping to bring my experiences and value, along with life skills to the team of people working with Pure Renewables”.
