Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive to join our team. As such, you will be expected to self-generate sales as well as responding to web-driven sales enquiries, and providing technical expertise to domestic clients who are interested in decarbonising their heating systems. Our business specialises in delivering high-quality, high-efficiency solutions using top-brand equipment. This is a self-driven sales role that requires exceptional teamwork and a strong technical background. The job will require you to be based out of the Hull office with regular travel to client meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage with domestic clients who are interested in transitioning to heat pump systems to reduce their carbon footprint and improve energy efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and requirements for decarbonizing their heating systems.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on the benefits and suitability of our high-quality, high-efficiency heat pump and solar PV solutions.
  • Conduct on-site assessments and evaluations to determine the feasibility and design requirements for heat pump and solar installations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, design, and project management, to develop comprehensive and customised heat pump and solar PV solutions for clients.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value proposition and competitive advantages of our heat pump and solar PV solutions.
  • Respond to client inquiries, provide accurate and timely technical information, and address any concerns or objections that may arise during the sales process.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in heat pump and solar technology, and effectively communicate these developments to clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, case studies, and technical documentation to support sales efforts.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the business.


Qualifications

  • Technical or Engineering background. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably from an engineering background.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional results.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, coordinating efforts with internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to address client needs and overcome objections.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.


Benefits

Salary offering: £40-45k depending on experience & profit-linked bonus, pension, private health, death in service and 25 days annual leave.
