Pure Renewables worked directly with the Bolton Hall Estate to provide the options of replacing two existing oil boilers dating from 1917.
Although water source heat pumps were initially considered, it was decided ground source would be more suited to Bolton Halls’ grounds. Pure Renewables therefore installed two Stiebel-Eltron WPE-I 87kW ground source heat pumps for Bolton Hall.

Energy cost saving: £7.5k a year compared to electric heating. RHI payments: £1,400 for 20 years, index-linked to inflation.
Using the thermal energy stored in the earth below the course fairways to provide heating and hot water to the Club House all year round.
