Project Overview
Highgrove Leisure Centre commissioned Pure Renewables to design, install and commission a renewable energy system which would achieve a minimum output temperature of 65°C and a peak thermal output (at 3°C) of 795 kWh. The project brief also required the team to remove and decommission the existing boiler plant before installing the new system.
The Solution
The dedicated project team completed the design stage and specified three Nova 440 heat pump units for the leisure centre. As with all units that Pure Renewables install, these use refrigerants which are natural and nontoxic with zero ozone depletion potential and very low global warming potential. Each unit would be crane lifted and positioned onto the roof and fitted with control systems for remote monitoring.
