Pure Renewables recently installed two large solar PV systems at Humber Merchants / Industrial supplies in Hull & Immingham to provide heating and hot water for the industrial units.
Pure Renewables completed a site survey at each of the sites with roof calculations to assess the roof and the space it had available for solar panels. We also consulted with the client on the design to make sure the system was exactly what they had in mind for their business. 43 No. Canadian Solar 410W panels were installed in the hopes of the business becoming more eco-friendly and to save themselves money on their energy bills every month.
A 12.5 kW SolarEdge 3-phase inverter was also installed at the business to convert the direct current (DC) electricity generated by the solar panels to alternating current (AC) electricity that can be used by the business. The annual production for this business is 12.14MW from the solar panels and they have reduced their monthly energy bills from £1300 to £900.
At the second industrial unit in Immingham (Humber Merchants), 54 No. JA 410W solar panels were installed, along with 2 x SolarEdge 10kW 3-phase inverters and 2 x 10kWh LG batteries. The business’ annual production is approximately 17.16MW, and the solar panel system has reduced their energy bills from £400 a month to £100 a month.
