It was a combination of wanting to be good citizens and the returns on the investment.

After we signed up, the Government moved the goalposts and there had to be some changes to the actual specification to fit in with available panels. It was done properly.
Has the investment matched your expectations?
The system is running at 105 per cent of the Government benchmark. My guess is we will have all our money back within 10 years. After that it’s an income stream.
