Pure Renewables is pleased to announce that it has won the Technology Award at the Architects’ Journal Awards in conjunction with Stone & Associates Architects for a water source heat pump system we installed at a country hall near Malton. Energy blades were used to extract energy from a lake in the grounds of the hall to energise the heat pumps to provide heating and hot water.
The noise volume of heat pumps has been a hot topic since they were first introduced and a recent study has found that a street which is full of heat pumps makes ‘almost no difference’ to the noise levels within that street.
Pure Renewables welcomes the Committee on Climate Change report on the future of the UK’s housing stock. The report assesses whether the UK’s housing stock is adequately prepared for the challenges of climate change.
